WELCOME

Welcome to the Signs of Success web site. During the past decades, there has been a rapid increase of Deaf individuals entering the public and private sectors in managerial positions.

These positions often serve as training grounds for future opportunities to form one's own business. Signs of Success has arbitrarily selected ten Deaf individuals who are judged successful by their peers. These role models may serve as inspiration for young Deaf individuals who may be considering business management as a career choice. It is never too early to begin thinking about what opportunities are available for Deaf individuals. Sincere appreciation is extended to all who consented to be involved in this project.

We are also grateful to the Merrill Lynch Foundation and Gallaudet University for making the project possible. It is my hope, that this project will contribute toward making the world a better place for Deaf persons to live in.
